AquaZINGA Waterbased (Zinc Silicate) System
Inorganic two component water based zinc silicate containing 92% pure zinc in the dry film.
Outstanding Characteristics of AquaZinga coat:
• Works in high temperatures of 500 Celcius with spike up to 600 Celcius.
• Excellent cathodic protection.
• Excellent resistance to steam and other hot gases
• Excellent resistance to hydrocarbons (inc. boiling).
• High tolerance to thermal shock.
• High tolerance to mechanical shock.
• High level of conductivity.
• AquaZINGA has a Ph range of 5.5 to 10.5.
• Excellent pre-weld primer.
• Works in tandem with sacrificial anodes.
• AquaZINGA can be over-coated with a wide range of paints.
AquaZINGA, together with PTFE Topcoat, MASTERZCOTE has outstanding characteristics:• Excellent resistance to hydrocarbons (inc. boiling).
• High tolerance to mechanical shock.
This duplex system can withstand salt-fog-spray test of 4500 hrs with 15% rust appearing.
Typical Uses of AquaZINGA can be used on its own as an alternative to hot-dip galvanizing and thermal metallisation in high temperature environments. It can also be used as a primer under high heat paints. Typical uses include ballast tanks, turbine exhausts and high heat pipelines, flare boom etc.
